The theme was: Positioning Universities as the Nexus of Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer for Socio-Economic Transformation. I was nominated to represent the School of Education and Lifelong Learning, Kenyatta University as a Ph D student.

- 7th May 2017 Invited to speak at the University of Nairobi Kikuyu Campus Christian Union meeting on the topic, Preparation in Life
- 4th May 2019. Guest Speaker during Form 4 Prayer Day at Karibaribi Secondary School, Kiambu County. Gave a talk on How to Excel in Examinations.
- 8th November 2020. Invited to share my Ph D findings with education stakeholders, church and missionaries of Tana River County, Kenya at AIC Ngao. The topic was: Contribution of the German Neukirchen Mission in the Establishment of Western Education in Tana River County, Kenya 1885 – 1986.
- 5th April 2023. Invited to give a motivation talk to Form Four students at Kwa Ng’ethe Secondary School in Kahawa, Nairobi. The topic was Effective Study Habits.
- 8th March 2024. Invited at Rungiri Secondary School in Kinoo, Nairobi. Addressed the school on Discipline as a prerequisite to Academic Excellence. Also donated 100 Kuyaelewa Mashairi Books.
- 29th September 2024. Invited to speak in a thanksgiving meeting at New Sarvid Hotel, Kiambu Road for Edward Nyaga after graduating with Master of Science (Finance) from the University of Nairobi. Spoke on The Essence of Post-Graduate Studies.
- 24TH October 2024 Guest Speaker at Playway Comprehensive School in Kahawa Wendani, Nairobi during the School’s Prayer Day; spoke on Being Responsible Future Leaders of our Nation
COLLABORATIONS IN RESEARCH AND TEACHING
- Kenyatta University/Teachers Service Commission (TSC) collaborative Research/Survey on Teacher Deployment and Utilization in Kenya; done on 13th to 21st July 2017. I was a research assistant and collected data in Kirinyaga County.
- Kenyatta University and York University (Canada) Joint Project on the Borderless Higher Education for Refugees (BHER Project). I participated in Curriculum Development for the Course: EDPJ 3000: Social Studies and Culture (2019)
- Kenyatta University and University of Western Para (Brazil). Participated in joint teaching under the coordination of Dr Lucy Mbirianjau of Kenyatta University and Prof. Paulino Itamar Rodrigues of Western Para University (2023/2024).
- Kenyatta University and a Consortium of 9 other Universities across the globe under the auspices of Aramid Organization headed by Prof. Peter Ndiangui of Florida Gulf Coast University, USA; Aramid (which means ‘Action’ in Philippino) mentors young and upcoming scholars through paper presentations on topical issues and creating networks. The other universities are Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines; West Attica University, Greece; Alex Ekwuene University, Nigeria; Kabale University, Uganda; Northern Arizona University, USA; Benguet University, Philippines; UPGRIS University, Indonesia and South Carolina University, USA. I serve as a counselor/judge (2023 to date)

A Project by Global E-Schools and Communities Initiative (GESCI), Makerere University and Notre Dame University. Lead persons in Kenya: Samuel Otieno and Christine Akello. I was among those invited as consultants to represent the academia/universities on 25th July 2023 at Jacaranda Hotel, Westlands, Nairobi. The theme was: ‘Use of assessment data to strengthen education policy and practice in Kenya.’
