  • 3rd – 4th October 2019: Attended the 6th International Annual Conference on Education and Lifelong Learning at Kenyatta University. Presented a research paper titled “Integration of Digital Literacy in the Competency Based Curriculum”.
  • 5th October – 5th December 2019: Participated in a 2-month job shadowing assignment under the Collaboration for Entrepreneurial Universities (CEPU) programme at Hochsule Bonn-Rhein-Seig University in Germany. The purpose of the assignment was to job shadow Regina Brautlacht and to gain experience on some routine daily tasks as Senior Lecturer and Presidential Commissioner on Global Digital Learning. The focus was on applied teaching methodologies and use of digital media didactics in teaching. Developed competencies on didactical approaches such as a flipped classroom approach, student centered learning, blended learning course design and policy implementation of University-wide initiatives in global digital learning.

  • 10th – 14th December 2018 Attended the NACADA-ISSUP-AUC International Conference on Drug Demand Reduction held at KICC, Nairobi. Presented a paper titled, ‘Evidence based practices and programs in prevention in schools: A policy analysis of international best practices. Effectively became a champion and advocate for the prevention of drug and substance abuse in schools and communities.
